Steelers cornerback Patrick Peterson decided to give the Ravens bulletin-board material this week.
Speaking to the media Friday afternoon, Peterson referred to Ravens rookie wideout Zay Flowers as a “little munchkin.”
We’re not kidding.
“He’s very shifty, very, very fast,” Peterson said of Flowers. “He can get behind the defense. He’s kind of like the guy that can do it all for him, run the screens, run the reverses and still also run the big post as well. So it’s going to be fun trying to keep our eye on that fast, little munchkin there.”
There’s no guarantee Peterson was trying to mock Flowers, but you can’t call someone a “little munchkin” and expect it to go over well with the public.

Flowers, a first-round pick out of Boston College, has been consistent for the Ravens this season. He has 24 receptions for 244 yards in four games.
We’ll see if Flowers gets the best of Peterson and the Steelers this Sunday.
