The Baltimore Ravens found their new offensive coordinator on Tuesday in Georgia’s Todd Monken. Leading many to believe Stetson Bennett could have an NFL future in Baltimore.
Monken helped coach Bennett to consecutive national championships and a spot on the Heisman Trophy ballot. And given the Ravens current situation with Lamar Jackson, it’s not out of the question that Baltimore looks to draft a quarterback at some point in this year’s draft.
Bennett’s name began to trend on social media shortly after the news.
“Stetson Bennett will be on the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad, if not the 53-man roster,” tweeted Joel Corry.
“Monken easily one of the most impactful assistants in Georgia history,” commented ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg. “Team ranked No. 6 nationally in scoring and No. 4 in yards per play during his three seasons. Helped QB Stetson Bennett win consecutive national titles.”
“Todd Monken and Stetson Bennett showing up in Baltimore together,” said BetMGM.
Hard to imagine the Ravens won’t at least give Bennett a look during the draft process.
