If people thought Latavius Murray was going to the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, they really think the marriage is bound to happen now.
The Ravens reportedly fear running back Gus Edwards and cornerback Marcus Peters suffered torn ACLs in practice today. Incredibly, Edwards would be the third Baltimore running back to suffer a season-ending injury in the last two weeks.
J.K. Dobbins, the team’s projected starter, tore his ACL in the preseason finale on August 28. Justice Hill, who was supposed to share some of the load with Edwards in place of Dobbins, tore his Achilles in practice earlier this week.
That leaves Ty’Son Williams and the recently signed Le’Veon Bell and Trenton Cannon as the only running backs on the Ravens’ roster. Murray, a durable 31-year-old veteran, was released by the New Orleans Saints two days ago after two productive seasons.
The onetime Pro Bowler still has some gas in the tank, and many experts think the Ravens will look to add him to the fold soon.
I imagine Latavius Murray’s cell is getting lit up right now from the 410.

Ty’Son Williams obviously now needs to be added in all fantasy leagues, but the Ravens have to add another RB even with Le’Veon Bell on the practice squad. My guess is Latavius Murray. If he goes to the Ravens, he’s the best back there from a fantasy standpoint. Stay tuned.

Ravens better hand off a bag to RB Latavius Murray

Run to the waiver wire to see if either Ty’Son Williams or Le’Veon Bell are available
The sneaky move here would be to add Latavius Murray (if he was dropped). There’s a chance the Ravens bring him on so he’s worth a speculative add if you have space. https://t.co/3C3amxvWl7

Awful news out of Baltimore regarding Gus Edward Ty’son Williams. For the RB Williams becomes the immediate pick-up if he’s still somehow available in your lg. Le’Veon Bell likely to get 3rd down work & also worth a pick-up. I assume BAL adds someone. Latavius Murray makes sense

Latavius Murray to the #Ravens, surely?

The number of times Le’Veon Bell, Trenton Cannon and Latavius Murray were just searched for in FF leagues across the globe >>>>

The Ravens have had an absolutely brutal run of injuries in general, and at the running back spot in particular. Signing Murray could help ease the pain in that area though.
We’ll see if Baltimore does what so many people expect them to do in the coming days.
