The Washington Commanders held their annual local pro day in Ashburn on Tuesday for 20 prospects with ties to the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia areas.
Record-setting Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoia was the headliner. The younger brother of Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Taulia shattered numerous passing records for the Terrapins during his four years as the starter.
Several big-time schools were represented, such as Alabama, Michigan, Texas and Oklahoma, while the Terps, West Virginia and Howard combined for eight players in Ashburn.
The local pro day does have an impact. Last year, defensive end Joshua Pryor participated in Washington’s pro day, and while he went undrafted, he signed as an undrafted free agent, landed on the practice squad and was eventually active for seven games in 2023.
Here are all 20 players who participated in Washington’s local pro day.
