The Washington Commanders were back on the field Wednesday for day two of their mandatory minicamp. Washington had some alumni present at practice Wednesday, and Hall-of-Fame defensive tackle Warren Sapp was also in Ashburn, working with the Commanders’ defensive line.
Regarding on-field action, it was another solid day for the defense. Quarterback Carson Wentz was better on day two than he was on day one. Rookie wide receiver Jahan Dotson continues to make plays in the absence of Terry McLaurin.
Washington has one more day before breaking for training camp.
