With the NCAA Tournament finally upon us, that means a lot of fans will be filling out brackets once the field of 68 is officially set.
That being said, there are a few teams that look due to regress in the tournament that shouldn’t be picked to go that far.
One of the programs is the Providence Friars, who lost to the Creighton Bluejays in the Big East quarterfinals. It was a game that wasn’t close as Creighton won by 27, 85-58.
Another one is Michigan State, which just lost to Purdue in the Big Ten semifinals. The Spartans are 22-12 heading into the NCAA Tournament but still aren’t as good as they have been in recent years.
The three other teams are St. Marys, Chattanooga, and USC.

St. Mary’s lost to Gonzaga in the West Coast Conference tournament earlier this week, while USC lost to UCLA in the PAC-12 tournament on Friday.
Chattanooga won the Southern Conference on Monday over Furman, but it’s about to be tested even more in the big dance.
It’s not known what seeds these programs will get, but extra caution should be applied when thinking about picking them.
