Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels continued his string of good practices on Tuesday, Day 6 of training camp. The Commanders pushed the ball downfield more on Tuesday, as Daniels connected with wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson.
After practice, Dotson offered the following on Daniels.
“I mean, with him, anything is possible, and he’s showing you that,” Dotson said when questioned about Daniels’ ball placement. “Me and Terry, were just talking about it on the sideline. You know, he’s putting the ball in places where it makes our job so much more easier because he is putting it where only you can get it, and the defender has no play on it.”
McLaurin could be in store for a big year with Daniels as the quarterback. Daniels — or Marcus Mariota — will be the sixth different Week 1 quarterback for the Commanders since McLaurin entered the NFL in 2019. Dotson is looking to rebound from a disappointing second season.
Here are our six takeaways/observations from Day 6 of training camp.
