We have released K Cade York
— Washington Commanders (@Commanders) September 9, 2024
The Commanders released K Cade York. So they don’t have to send Cleveland that conditional 7th-round pick.

I mentioned his name quite a bit before the season started. Seibert is a vet who has kicked for multiple teams. His career long is 53 Yards. Hopefully he solves the issue st the kicker spot‼️ #RaiseHail https://t.co/VmbkeW3Ju3

Fun fact: New Commanders K Austin Seibert played for the Browns with Assistant Special Teams Coach Doug Colman
Prior to that Colman was an assistant with the Texans under now Commanders STC Larry Izzo#RaiseHail

.@BrianCoz asked #Jets HC Robert Saleh if he considered going for two after the last touchdown (CC @NYJ_Matt):
‘No, I feel like we got a really good second kicker. I think [Austin] Seibert is better than a lot of kickers that are employed in the #NFL right now. Just wanted to… pic.twitter.com/KDhen4iq76

Major positive with Jayden Daniels at the Bucs was his sack avoidance. Was blitzed and pressured a lot, but he took just two sacks (yes, one was a sack-strip). His pressure-to-sack rate per @PFF was 16.7, which is just fine (20 is when you worry). Nice job vs. a tough defense.
— Al Galdi (@AlGaldi) September 9, 2024
Just watched every pass and run from Jayden Daniels today.
My God is he going to be good for a long time.
— Kurt Benkert (@KurtBenkert) September 9, 2024
What do you make of his lack of down field throws? Not sure if it was a Bowles thing, a Kliff thing, or a Jayden thing
— Michael Anderson (@msa_987) September 9, 2024
Tbh I’m not sure. That defense is typically really tough to play against in general so they were probably trying to stay ahead of the sticks with underneath throws.

Terry had great separation on that deep ball to open the 2nd half. He was wide open on that go-route. He was wide open later on in the middle of the field. JD just didn’t see him. https://t.co/BzFWvWhJ8U

The protection from the offensive line was solid on this play, but look at Brandon Coleman running downfield from his left tackle position with his quarterback. Impressive – and he should improve with experience. https://t.co/KynHMeW9vH

Pay attention‼️Washington Commanders CB Mike Sainristil has a FREE BLITZ, until he gives himself away on an aggressive fake snap cadence by Baker Mayfield.
