Commanders make it official, announcing the signing of QB Trace McSorely. He will serve as the #3 QB for preseason game number 2 vs Miami. Sam Hartman missed practice this week with a shoulder injury.

Dan Quinn said QBs Marcus Mariota (groin) and Sam Hartman (shoulder) are out for Saturday’s preseason game in Miami. Hence the decision to bring in Trace McSorley, who flew in last night, got his physical this morning before their joint practice, and will play Saturday.
