If you are waived injured and don’t get picked up on waivers the player automatically lands on IR. They stay there until an injury settlement can be negotiated.

To splash a little cold water on the rookie QBs starting this week:
There have been 100 rookie quarterbacks who have qualified for the DVOA leaderboards since 1979.
Only 18 had positive DVOAs. The average was -16.1%, or roughly 2023 Will Levis.
— Bryan Knowles (@BryKno) September 2, 2024
Rookies with passing DVOA below -30% included Phil Simms, Neil Lomax, John Elway, Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff, and Donovan McNabb. https://t.co/PT9zKAMWRy

Matt Rhule on Sheduer Sanders’ comments after last year’s game:
“I’ve got love in my heart and a lot of respect for what they’re doing… at the end of the day, if Shedeur thought I disrespected his father, he’s standing up for him. Good for him. My son would stand up for me.”— Sam McKewon (@swmckewonOWH) September 2, 2024
