Hideous debut for the #Commanders‘ new coaching staff. Dan Quinn, Kliff Kingsbury & Joe Whitt Jr. have a lot to answer for & very little to feel good about. One thing about this team that was supposed to be for sure was that it would be better coached. We didn’t see that at all.

Kingsbury didn’t really do much to ease concerns about his system at the NFL level. No real run game, no attempt to build into play-action, etc. Secondary didn’t do much to ease concerns about ability to play man coverage/tackle (granted, Bucs WRs are very good)

We do need to remember the Bucs were a playoff team last year while the Commanders had the 2nd overall pick for a reason. They turned over more than half the roster. But don’t think coaches/players did much to dispell the common concerns about them going into the year
