Commanders Vs. Lions Stats and Trends

  • This week Gibson will face what was the NFL’s 24th-ranked pass defense last year (244.7 yards allowed per game).
  • In terms of defending against the run, the Lions were 28th in the league last year, conceding 135.1 yards per game.
  • Despite sporting a bottom-five pass defense last season that ranked fourth-worst in the NFL (254.9 passing yards allowed per game), the Commanders put up better results on the other side of the ball, ranking 21st in the NFL by putting up 202.4 passing yards per game.
