Texas appears to be putting on the full-court press to land five-star quarterback recruit Arch Manning this weekend.
Arch Manning, the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2023 class and the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning, took a visit to Austin, Texas this weekend.
The Longhorns are one of six schools in play for Manning, with Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU and Ole Miss also in contention.
Texas has been considered by many to be the favorite from the start, though. Having a couple of program greats on campus this weekend probably helped their chances.

Colt McCoy was on hand for practice during Arch Manning’s visit, too.

According to one recruiting expert, Texas offers something to Arch Manning that Alabama and Georgia cannot.
Will that result in a commitment?
We’ll find out later this year, in all likelihood.
