DeAndre Hopkins has reportedly been hit with a significant suspension by the National Football League on Monday.
According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver is being suspended for six games.
Hopkins’ suspension is reportedly due to a violation of the league’s performance enhancing drug policy, per Schefter.
“Cardinals’ Pro-Bowl WR DeAndre Hopkins is being suspended six games for violating the NFL’s Performance Enhancing Drug policy, league sources tell ESPN,” he reports.

Hopkins, 29, was traded to Arizona from Houston to team up with Kyler Murray. He caught 42 passes for 572 yards and eight touchdowns last season, missing seven games due to injury.
The Cardinals recently traded for Ravens wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.
You have to wonder if the Cardinals were aware of a potential suspension for Hopkins prior to making the big NFL Draft trade for Brown.
