Running back Brian Robinson Jr. able to overcome nagging injuries as he goes for his third 100-yard rushing game of the season against the Titans
In previewing the Titans-Commanders matchup, one of the main questions that needed answers going into the game was: What will fix the Commanders’ offense? We got the answer to the question in Washington’s first offensive drive of the game, as Brian Robinson Jr.’s 40-yard touchdown run set the tone for what would end up being a 267-yard rushing day against the Titans. This was a Titans defense that held Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon to 22 yards on 14 carries a week ago. Robinson finished the day with 103 yards on 16 carries, his third 100-yard game of the season. Chris Rodriguez Jr. also had 94 yards on 13 carries, while Jayden Daniels and Jeremy McNichols combined for 15 carries for 66 yards.
The success of the Commanders’ rush offense helped keep things balanced offensively and keep them ahead of the chains. As a result of their efficiency, they also dominated the time of possession throughout the game.
It was a full-team dominating win against the Titans, and we broke all of it down on this Trap or Dive post-game recap.
