Morgan State (4-5) will Travel to Washington D.C. to take on the Howard Bison (5-5) in a game that has MEAC championship, Celebration Bowl, and playoff implications.

If Morgan State wins this game they would need North Carolina Central to lose their game against Delaware State to win the MEAC. Howard on the other hand only needs to beat Morgan to win the MEAC.

Howard comes into this game after beating #7 North Carolina Central in convincing fashion 50-20.

The Bison on offense are led by Grad. Quarterback Quinton Williams who leads the conference in passing yards (2,015) and passing touchdowns (16). His top target leads the conference in receiving yards and touchdowns as well with 452 yards and five touchdowns.

The Bison rushing game is just as prolific as their passing game as they have the #6 and #7 rushers in the conference. Senior Jarett Hunter has 494 yards and seven touchdowns, while Sophomore Eden James the son of NFL Hall of Famer Edgerrin James has 482 yards and two touchdowns.

The Bison also come into this game with the #2 scoring defense in the conference. The Bison only allow 23.1 points per game.

The Bears come into this contest with a three game winning streak Most recently beating South Carolina State 20-17.

Morgan is lead by True Freshman quarterback Thaj Smith who since coming in during the fourth quarter of the game against Norfolk State has not lost or thrown an interception.

With the new quarterback change the Bears run game has been at its best all season. The top rusher for Morgan is Redshirt Junior Running back J.J. Davis who is fifth in the conference in rushing with 510 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Morgan once again comes in with the number one defense in the confrence only  allowing 22.2 points per game and 300.3 yards per game.
