While Washington’s defensive line has struggled against the rush and pressure of the quarterback, losing Jonathan Allen for the season is still a significant loss to the group. Washington valued Allen as a run defender and pass rusher, so his loss has hampered their rotation. The team signed Carl Davis to their practice squad on Tuesday, but the primary stop gaps exist on the active roster.
