The Indianapolis Colts are one of three teams interested in trading for New York Giants cornerback James Bradberry, per a new report.
The cap-strapped Giants are going to have to drop Bradberry at some point in order to save salary, and they’d obviously rather trade him and recoup some assets rather than simply release him.
According to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, Bradberry will definitely be traded at some point, and the Colts, Chiefs and Texans are the teams to keep an eye on.
“It will likely happen soon. It’s a matter of when, not if [Bradberry is traded],” Leonard said.

Bradberry, 28, signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the Giants in 2020. He has one year left on that deal, and with the Giants in rebuild mode and lacking cap space, it makes sense they are looking to move the one-time Pro Bowler.
After a career season in 2020, Bradberry was not as stellar last year, though he did still have a solid campaign, finishing with 47 tackles, 17 passes defensed, four interceptions and two fumble recoveries.
