If you followed the NFC East on Sunday, your first thought was the Washington Commanders and New York Giants would again be competing for last place in the division.
The Giants looked horrible in a Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, as they made Sam Darnold look like a top-five NFL quarterback. Meanwhile, in Tampa Bay, the Commanders looked a lot like the 2023 Ron Rivera-coached team in a 37-20 loss.
The longtime rivals will face off in Washington next week. The Giants have dominated the series recently, including sweeping the Commanders last season.
So, who is favored to win the Week 2 matchup?
The Commanders opened as 2.5-point favorites over New York, according to BetMGM.
