The Washington Commanders walked away from Day 1 of the 2024 NFL draft with their quarterback of the present and future. Washington selected LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels with the second overall pick. General manager Adam Peters made attempts to move back into the first round, presumably for an offensive tackle, but failed to strike a deal.
The good news is that Washington has five selections on Day 2. The Commanders have two early second-round picks and three third-round picks. Plenty of talent remains that could fill needs at critical positions.
What position will Washington target first?
We attempt to predict what will happen for the Commanders on Friday with the following two-round mock draft for the second and third rounds.
