This is Washington’s schedule for the month of September:
- Week 1 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Week 2 New York Giants
- Week 3 @ Cincinnati Bengals
- Week 4 @ Arizona Cardinals
(Not) road warriors in 2024
September looks like Washington’s biggest travel month, with three of its eight total 2024 road games in the first 4 weeks. The Commanders will have 8 home games remaining after September (NFC teams play 9 home games in ‘even’ years). The Commanders have only one ‘road trip’ in October — to Baltimore. November sees them travel to New Jersey and Philadelphia — basically, commuter flights. They travel once in December to the Big Easy (New Orleans), and close the regular season with a single game in January — traveling to Dallas in Week 18.
In today’s survey, we ask you to make two predictions:
- Predict the Commanders’ record at the end of September
- Predict the outcome of the September 8th opener in Tampa Bay
