The Washington Commanders began rookie minicamp on Friday in Ashburn, which was the first on-field practice for the incoming rookie class.
Quarterback Jayden Daniels was the center of attention, but other things stood out, too, such as the energy. The coaching staff ran a drill before practice where every player participated with coaches excitedly cheering them on.
The highlight of the day was undrafted wide receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint’s spectacular one-handed catch.
While it was only the first day of rookie minicamp, there was a different vibe and energy surrounding the team. Will that continue once the veterans and rookies are on the field together?
