The Washington Commanders have a busy week ahead. General manager Adam Peters must reduce Washington’s roster from 90 players to 53. Heading into Sunday’s preseason finale, head coach Dan Quinn said some roster spots were still unsettled.
Every NFL team must have its roster at 53 players by Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET. Washington, with holes at offensive tackle, wide receiver, and cornerback, could look to make moves, either by trade or by claiming a player waived by another team. The Commanders hold the No. 2 priority in the waiver order.
