The Washington Commanders kicked off training camp Wednesday in Ashburn. There was plenty of optimism surrounding the team, which head coach Ron Rivera acknowledged after practice.
“The first day’s always fun, and you know, it’s one of those things, the guys come out with a tremendous amount of enthusiasm,” Rivera said. “Like I said, optimism is high, and you just feed off of that kind of energy.”
After around six weeks off, how did the Commanders look on the practice field? Here are some observations from day one of Washington’s training camp.
