Injury updates
The Washington Commanders enter their Week 8 matchup against the Chicago Bears with several players dealing with injuries. Jayden Daniels didn’t practice again today, and Dan Quinn said yesterday that they will need to evaluate him on the practice field to see how much the rib injury is affecting his movement and ability to throw. Brandon Coleman suffered a concussion on Sunday, and missed practice again. Quinn said he was hitting his markers, but he only has a few days left to get cleared to return to the lineup.
Clelin Ferrell has been dealing with a knee injury for months, and sat out of today’s practice. He was limited yesterday. Dorance Armstrong missed last week’s game due to a rib injury from the previous week. LB Dante Fowler Jr(groin) was limited again with a groin injury from Sunday.
