Who’s out today?
The Washington Commanders released their final injury report for today’s game on Friday, and they elevated RB Chris Rodriguez and CB Kevin Seymour from the practice squad. RB Brian Robinson Jr. and rookie LB Jordan Magee were also ruled out yesterday. Robinson didn’t practice all week, and didn’t play in the second half of last week’s game due to a knee injury he’s been dealing with for the last two weeks. Magee remains on injured reserve after having had meniscus surgery for a preseason injury.
Defensive end Clelin Ferrell has been dealing with a knee injury and missed the last three games, but he’ll return to the lineup today. Washington also activated DE Efe Obada from the PUP list. He suffered multiple leg fractures last year and makes his return to the field today. This made Jamin Davis a healthy scratch. He is joined on the inactive list by another one of Ron Rivera’s former 1st round picks. CB Emmanuel Forbes Jr. only played 4 snaps on defense last week, and now he’s a healthy scratch.
WR Noah Brown missed last week with a groin injury, but has been cleared to play this week.
QB Marcus Mariota was on injured reserve with a strained pec, and he was activated last week. Jeff Driskel is inactive again, but he will be the team’s emergency 3rd QB, a role Sam Hartman, who is now on the practice squad, had been filling all season.
Rookie S Tyler Owens(shin) has been ruled out for the second game in a row. Darrick Forrest will be active for the second time this season.
Rookie LB Dominique Hampton and guard Chris Paul are both inactive again this week.
