Dan Quinn and players talk to the media after the final day of minicamp
I’mThe Washington Commanders final mini-camp of the 2024 offseason is over, and Dan Quinn spoke to the media afterwards. The team will be on “summer break” until training camp starts in late July.
Quinn praised rookie QB Jayden Daniels, talking about his progress, and also his youth as he enters the NFL. Marcus Mariota was also a #2 overall pick, and he sees a lot of similarities between the two QBs.

Dan Quinn said the plan entering the spring was to give both Mariota and Daniels first-team reps. Quinn said nothing has been determined about the starter. But they loved the progress made by Daniels. Looked good. He’s on pace.
