Dan Quinn speaks to the media before practice
The Washington Commanders announced several roster moves this morning, including placing Jonathan Allen and Javontae Jean-Baptiste on injured reserve. Dan Quinn provided some updates on several injured players, including the return of Brian Robinson Jr. to practice today. Washington is preparing for a home game against the 1-5 Carolina Panthers, but Dan Quinn is already cautioning against underestimating any other NFL team, no matter what their record, or national perception.
Dan Quinn was asked about working with excellent quarterbacks in the past like Matt Ryan, and now having a rookie like Jayden Daniels who has exceeded most expectations. He said one trait he’s recognized with the great QBs he’s worked with is relentless work ethics. Quinn went on to describe the way Daniels plays the game, and the little things that don’t show up on the stat sheet, but do show how smart he is playing the position.

Dorance Armstrong:
Dan Quinn said DE Dorance Armstrong (rib) will not practice today. Lots of missing faces on the DL now.

With Armstrong, Quinn said not concerned it’s a long-term issue (it’s a rib injury). If that had been the case, would have put on IR.
