Dan Quinn speaks to the media after practice
Dan Quinn spoke to the media after the Washington Commanders held their practice in the bubble today due to the weather. He named this week’s team captains, before getting to some injury updates. Washington traded multiple draft picks to the New Orleans Saints on November 5th, but he still has practiced with the team due to a hamstring injury. Quinn ruled him out for Sunday’s home game against the Dallas Cowboys., but said there is optimism that he can make his debut with Washington next week against the Tennessee Titans. Lattimore has been at practice, in meeting, and absorbing the Commanders system, but he’s not ready to return to the field. He’s been doing strength and speed work, and his work on the side fields has been increasing.

Marshon Lattimore:
Quinn said Marshon Lattimore will not play this weekend. The progress is there and is showing growth in learning the system. Also Quinn is optimistic Lattimore will play next week against the Tennessee Titans

CB Marshon Lattimore is out. Dan Quinn said he is optimistic about Week 13, but still unsure if that will be his debut. Quinn said they’re not just waiting for the bye week and then debut him. “If fully healed and he can do all the things at top speed, that would be the marker.”

Dan Quinn is hopeful about Marshon Lattimore’s availability next week against the Titans. There will surely be some debate over whether to rest the hamstring regardless since the Week 14 bye comes next. Some progress made this week but has yet to practice.
