Dan Quinn speaks to the media before practice
The Washington Commanders have had team workouts this week, but today is their first full practice since returning from their bye week. Dan Quinn spoke to reporters before it started and gave some injury updates. RT Andrew Wylie(concussion) and CB Marshon Lattimore(hamstring) will be full participants today. That would mark Lattimore’s first full practice since Washington traded with the Saints for him on November 5th, Lattimore is expected to return this week to face his former team. Quinn said it’s a big deal to add a player of his caliber.
Noah Brown suffered a serious internal injury vs the Tennessee Titans before the bye and is going to miss time. Quinn said that the final decision on shutting him down for the season won’t be made until later this week, but it’s looking like that might be the direction they go with him. Quinn called Brown a tough ass competitor, and he will be missed on the field. The wide receiver room could be getting Jamison Crowder back this week after the team activated his 21-day practice window on Monday. Washington has a “deep crew” that help with Brown out, but he has some specific size and speed traits that are unique to him.
