Dan Quinn talks to the media on “Tell the Truth Monday”
Dan Quinn held his weekly presser on “Tell the Truth Monday”, and it’s the first one after a Washington Commanders win. He’s very happy with the running back duo of Brian Robinson Jr and Austin Ekeler. They were both major factors in yesterday’s win, and Quinn said they both bring unique things to the offense. He also said he was a impressed with Zach Ertz who saved a potential interception, and had 4 catches for 62 yards. Jayden Daniels moving outside the pocket can open up the offense, and “that’s one part of the game that will take off for him.”
Penalties(10 for 69 yards) were a big problem yesterday for Washington, and Quinn admitted they were fortunate to win despite all the flags that were thrown against the Commanders. Quinn was more irritated with the pre-snap penalties more than anything else. They also didn’t score a touchdown, but after the team’s kicking woes this year, he’s not “bitching about kicking field goals.”
