Deebo Samuel’s Brother Suggests He Wants Trade: Fans React

April 19, 2022 by The Spun

Deebo Samuel runs with the football.

Earlier Tuesday night, Tyquan Samuel, the brother of San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel, suggested the star wideout wants to be traded.

“Don’t worry we asking for a trade,” he said in the comments section of a Facebook post about his brother’s NFL future. “He won’t be a 49er. That’s all that matters,” he later doubled down.

That, of course, led to plenty of speculation from fans, who are ready for their respective teams to make a trade for the star wideout. Deebo’s brother later said he was joking around.”

There are screenshots floating around of Deebo Samuel’s brother commenting they’ll request a trade.

His brother confirms he was joking around and actually has no idea what’s going on.

However, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating. At least one Green Bay Packers fan is already dreaming about Deebo joining the team.

“Imagine it, Rodgers hands it off and DEEEEBOOO TAKES IT 20 yards for the touchdown Lambeau erupts with ‘Deeeeboooo,’” one fan said.

“If I was a professional athlete I’d politely ask my family to not post my business on social media,” another person said.

One Jets fan is hoping the team can pull off a trade for the star wide receiver.

“SF wouldn’t consider trading Samuel unless he threatened to make things ugly – but it looks like he may be willing to do that, which could change the situation,” the fan said. “If this escalates & SF is legit willing to listen, #Jets should offer the Hill deal & try to close before the draft.”
