ESPN college football analyst Desmond Howard would probably like to have his Saturday morning tweet back.
Saturday morning, the former Michigan Wolverines star responded to a tweet from ESPN college football announcer Chris Fowler.
Fowler tweeted out a photo of a bridge lit up in Ukraine’s colors. Ukraine was invaded by Russia at the end of February.

Howard either didn’t realize what the bridge was lit up for, or he didn’t care, because he tweeted a Go Michigan response.
Go Blue!

That Michigan education didn’t help you here. That’s for Ukraine.

Hey Des. Love Michigan too, but this is # GoUkraine

Mistakes happen, of course, but someone should probably get in Howard’s ear and remind him why the bridge is lit up in blue and yellow…
