Jason Kelce announced on Thursday that he’ll return to the NFL for his 12th season. On Friday, we learned just how much money he’ll make in what could be his final year as the center for the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Eagles are giving Kelce a one-year deal worth $14 million.
“The highest-paid center, Kelce has played like it,” Rapoport tweeted. “He’ll do so in 2022.”
This is a nice payday for Kelce, who is coming off his fourth first-team All-Pro selection. He also earned Pro Bowl honors this past season.

Kelce, 34, has been such a key piece to the Eagles’ offense for several years. He’s also a fan favorite due to his outgoing personality.
In his announcement video earlier this week, Kelce said he’s returning to the Eagles while drinking a beer.
“I’m definitely not retiring from playing for the Philadelphia Eagles,” Kelce said. “I’m having way too much fun doing that. I’m looking forward to another year, Philadelphia. To all my teammates, let’s go dominate.”
We’ll see if the Eagles can take that next step from being a playoff team to a Super Bowl contender.
