We are only days away from the 2024 NFL draft. The Washington Commanders currently have nine selections, beginning with the second overall pick. While they haven’t said it, everyone knows the Commanders are selecting a quarterback first.
From there, Washington holds two picks in the second round and three in the third round. General manager Adam Peters didn’t rule out trading back into the first round, potentially for an offensive tackle, and many believe that will happen.
If everything goes Washington’s way, it has a chance to turn the franchise around. The Commanders have enough draft capital to move up, or they could trade down while also adding more picks for 2025.
