A Film Session breaking down Jayden Daniels and Kliff Kingsbury’s electric performance against the Cincinnati Bengals defense
The season is young, but Jayden Daniels’ progression in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense has been outstanding weekly. Daniels’ environment wasn’t perfect Monday night; the road environment, untimely late-game flags, and inefficient pre-snap process at times within the huddle, and at the line of scrimmage.
Furthermore, the pressure was on the offense to deliver all night, with Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase on the other side. Daniels delivered on every possession.
Having a quarterback on your team that you can win with is good, but it is a luxury to have a quarterback on your roster that you win games because of them. In this Trap or Dive film session, I broke down Jayden Daniels’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals along with how Kliff Kingsbury’s playcalling influenced the game in certain situations. This game, early into Daniels’ NFL career, showed that the Commanders can win games because of him.
