A film session breaking down Jayden Daniels’ performance against the New Orleans Saints
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has just earned his ninth Rookie of the Week award of the season following his performance against the New Orleans Saints. Daniels didn’t post gaudy numbers against the Saints, but he was super efficient and accurate and bailed Washington’s offense out of several setbacks by way of penalties, negative runs, or sacks. It was a game that, while Daniels was efficient, it seemed as if the offense could not find its grove against the Saints, and it became pretty chaotic in spurts.
Daniels took control of the game, converting first downs with his arms and legs and putting his body on the line to extend drives. In this film session, I broke down key plays throughout the game that showcased Jayden Daniels’s high-level processing and competitiveness, which helped push the Commanders past the Saints.
