Michigan defensive lineman Aidan Hutchinson has seen his NFL Draft stock soar over the past few months. However, an anonymous NFL Pro Bowler thinks he’s going to be the biggest bust of this year’s draft class.
“I wouldn’t draft him at No. 2! At the end of the day, he has one move that he does,” a former NFL Pro Bowler told Lions beat reporter Kory Woods. “He has the two hands, press, then snatch through. That’s the only move he does.
“He’s going to go up against Rashawn Slater, Tristan Wirfs, and the list goes on. They ain’t going for that sh*t!. They’re going to push his a** right down to the ground, and he’s going to be on the bench.”
I spoke to a former NFL Pro Bowler today, who requested anonymity, about the the Detroit Lions possibly taking Aidan Hutchinson at No. 2.
Let’s just say he isn’t that high on Hutchinson’s technique and how he’d fair against some of the NFL’s best offensive linemen. pic.twitter.com/tMSgmmnIxo

Aidan Hutchinson’s stock has significantly improved in recent months. So much so, he’s jumped Oregon’s Kavyon Thibodeaux as the best pass rusher and is now the No. 2 overall prospect in most mock drafts.
The Hutchinson vs. Thibodeaux debate has become a common one leading up to the 2022 NFL Draft. You could argue Hutchinson is more ready for the professional level. Thibodeaux, on the other hand, has more upside and is capable of being a high-impact player.
Should the Lions pass on Hutchinson and take Thibodeaux with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft?
