The New York Giants will be without fifth-year tight end Evan Engram for the second-straight game when they take on Washington tomorrow night.
Engram has been dealing with a calf injury and missed Sunday’s season opener against the Denver Broncos. Despite head coach Joe Judge saying he was hopeful to have the 2017 first-round pick available against the WFT, Engram will sit this one out as well.
It will likely be a healthy dose of Kyle Rudolph and Kaden Smith at tight end for the Giants on Thursday. Interestingly, running back Saquon Barkley, who is still working his way back from last season’s ACL injury, is listed as questionable for the game.
Backup linebacker and special teamer Cam Brown and starting left guard Shane Lemieux are also out.

Engram caught 63 passes for 654 yards and one touchdown in 2020. Ironically, that lone score came against Washington in a Week 9 win.
The Giants and WFT will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET tomorrow night on FOX. Both teams are looking to avoid an 0-2 start.
