The New York Giants are reportedly looking to trade second-year wide receiver Kadarius Toney, per the New York Daily News.
Toney’s career with the Giants got off to a rocky start after they selected him with the 20th overall pick in 2021. Injury issues, workout absences and other “red flags” immediately marred his young NFL career.
In addition to two positive COVID tests, Toney missed time with hamstring, ankle, thumb, quad, oblique and shoulder injuries this past season. He was also thrown out of a game against the Cowboys for throwing a punch.

Toney has yet to show up for any of the team’s offseason workouts under first-year head coach Brian Daboll.
Suiting up for 10 games in his rookie season, the former Florida Gators wide receiver reeled in 39 catches for 420 yards and zero touchdowns.
