No prizes; just bragging rights
If you’d like to get in on the fun of picking this week’s winners in the NFL without having to risk any money or win any prizes, I’ve got the contest for you.
This is actually two contests:
- Simply pick the winner (Pick’em)
- Pick against the spread (Spread)
You can participate in either, both, or neither.
- No entries will be accepted after kickoff of the Thursday Night Football game.
- If you want to change your entry, simply click the appropriate link below and fill in another entry form. I will use the last one submitted prior to TNF kickoff as the official entry.
- The spreads used for the Point Spread contest will be the ones available to me at the time of writing the article and they will not change.

Bragging rights for Week 1

Point Spread
We had 28 entries in the Point Spread contest (down from 36 entries in Week 1) and ended up with a tie at the top between tubmler2 and Klammer, who each correctly predicted 11 out of 15 games (Seahawks-Patriots was a push). Hot on their heels was Joeynine, who forecast 10 outcomes correctly.
Pick’em
There were 60 entrants in this weeks Pick’em contest, down slightly from Week 1. In a week that featured a number of unexpected results, one player stood a bit taller than the rest with respect to the ability to anticipate the outcomes in Week 2. 91 Posse picked the winner in 11 of 16 games played, while DenverHank and Ez Turbo were right behind him with 10 correct predictions. The difference-maker seemed to be that 91 Posse was one of the few entrants to correctly pick both Tampa Bay and Green Bay as winners.
Congratulations to all on another great week of predictions. Don’t forget to click the links above and get your entries in for Week 3; It costs nothing to enter except a few minutes of your time, and the pride of winning will warm you for an entire week and give you something to brag about that will drive your friends and family crazy.
