Back in 2019, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan expressed a desire to wrestle one more time. But he was recently asked the question again and had a very different response.
Appearing on the Two Man Power Trip podcast, Hogan said that he doesn’t plan to wrestle ever again. He revealed that he’s undergone a whopping 23 surgeries in just the past 10 years. His back, hips and knees have all been too adversely affected.
“No, no, no, no, no,” Hogan said, via TMZ. “In the last 10 years, I’ve had 23 surgeries, 10 back surgeries, both hips, both knees – forget it.”
Hogan said that if he were healthy he’d absolutely want to compete. He even said that he’d be willing to go up against WWE stars Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar as a final sendoff.
“If I was healthy, shoot – yeah, man, all day long,” he said. “The first one I’m trying to pick off would be Roman, then I’d like to get to Brock. But good God, I’d be in a wheelchair by the time I get done with that.”

Hulk Hogan is 68 years old now and last wrestled for WWE all the way back in 2006. He then spent the next few years wrestling in other promotions but has not competed for at least five years. It would be a shame if Hogan were unable to have a proper sendoff match doing what made him world famous.
But wrestling can be an unforgiving profession. Hogan has learned that the hard way.
