Jayden Daniels speaks to the media after practice
Jayden Daniels spoke to the media after practice. Today was also the first day reporters had access to the locker room after practice. The team is preparing to travel to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, so everyone is talking about Week 1. For Daniels, and several other rookies, this is his NFL debut. He played it off as just going out there and playing ball, but he has been preparing for this moment for most of his life.
Daniels said he’ll be leaning on veteran QB Marcus Mariota who has played against a few different Todd Bowles-coached teams in the NFL. Mariota is also another former Heisman Trophy winner, and No. 2 overall QB pick.
