Eventually, Tom Brady will ride off into the sunset as the greatest quarterback to ever play. For now, he’s still ripping out opposing teams’ hearts in crunch time.
With a little over a minute left on the clock and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers trailing by one, Brady led his team down the field to set up Ryan Succop for a game-winning field goal. It was a masterful drive by Brady, as he completed clutch throws to Giovani Bernard, Rob Gronkowski and Chris Godwin down the stretch.
Succop didn’t squander the golden opportunity that Brady gave him, as he made his 36-yard field goal with two seconds remaining. The Buccaneers’ special teams unit was able to take care of business in the closing seconds to secure the win.
After the final whistle was blown, one of Brady’s former teammates went on Twitter to share his thoughts on the veteran quarterback’s game-winning drive.
Former New England Patriots wider receiver Julian Edelman reacted to Brady’s performance on Thursday night with a goat emoji on Twitter.

At this point, it’s really hard to argue against Brady being the greatest quarterback of all-time. He just continues to defy the odds in the final stages of his career.
On Thursday night, Brady threw for 379 yards and four touchdowns against the Cowboys. His stat line may have looked even better if Chris Godwin didn’t have a crucial drop and fumble in the second half.
Brady will be back in action next Sunday when the Buccaneers take on the Falcons.
