During last night’s play-in matchup between the Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans Pelicans, Lakers superstar LeBron James took to Twitter to reveal his pick for the “best coach” in the NBA.
As the Clippers went on a massive third-quarter run, LeBron fired off some words of high praise for his former Cleveland Cavaliers coach Ty Lue.
“Simply the BEST coach in the game! ARGUE with your kids not me,” he wrote.

After this tweet, the Pelicans went on to mount a comeback and take down Lue’s Clippers 105-101 — eliminating the Los Angeles squad from postseason action.
“That was a nasty LeBron jinx,” one fan wrote.
“This tweet didn’t age well at all. He kept that small lineup in there too long!” another added.
“Is this another April Fool’s tweet?” another asked.

Others saw this tweet as a shot at LeBron’s former head coach Frank Vogel, who was fired by the Lakers earlier this week.
“Waited for Vogel to be fired so he could tweet this lol,” one wrote.
