Kyrie Irving only played 11 games at Duke because of a toe injury, but that didn’t stop him from becoming the first overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft.
Also a one-and-done player, Jayson Tatum averaged 16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game for the 28-9 Blue Devils in 2016-17. After leading them to an ACC Tournament triumph, Tatum got selected third by the Boston Celtics.
Seth Curry, acquired by Brooklyn in the blockbuster trade that sent James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers, played under Coach K for three seasons. The Liberty transfer scored 17.5 points per game in his final season.

Krzyzewski witnessed the Nets take a 65-55 lead into halftime behind 15 points from Durant. His former pupil, Tatum, gave the Celtics a 1-0 series lead Sunday on a buzzer-beater.
