After battling against New England as a member of the Dolphins for the past seven seasons, DeVante Parker is now a Patriot.
After news of the trade broke, Pats quarterback Mac Jones welcomed Parker to the team; to which the veteran wideout gave a five-word response.
“Let’s get it big dawg,” Parker tweeted. “LFG!!!”

In a rare trade between the AFC East rivals, Parker was traded to the Patriots along with a fifth-round pick in exchange for a third rounder in the 2023 draft.
The writing was kind of on the wall for Parker after Miami landed Tyreek Hill and signed Cedrick Wilson in free agency to go with last year’s first-round pick Jaylen Waddle.

Mac Jones and the Pats get two years of Parker; who has a pair of seasons left on his deal that will cost the team about $11 million total. The former 14th overall pick should quickly rise to the top of a weak WR depth chart in New England.
Back in 2020, Bill Belichick was very complementary of DeVante Parker’s game. Saying, “He’s got a very, very good skill set.”
Adding, “He’s a big athlete that runs well, has good hands, good run-after-the-catch ability, and good quickness for his size. He presents a lot of problems … he attacks all three levels of the defense and can be productive at all three [receiver spots].”
