The college basketball world got some fantastic news earlier this week when legendary broadcaster Dick Vitale announced he was in remission after a tough battle with cancer over the past year.
On Saturday, college basketball fans got another thing to smile about: Dickie V back in the arena for some live college hoops action.
The longtime ESPN commentator arrived at Tampa’s Amalie Arena for this afternoon’s SEC semifinal matchup between the Texas A&M Aggies and Arkansas Razorbacks.

“Way to go, Coach Vitale. Lead the way!” one fan wrote.
“That is how ya start a Saturday of hoops,” another added.
Hopefully this afternoon’s slate of college basketball matchups will provide some “Sensational!” moments for the 82-year-old broadcasting legend.
