While the Grizzlies and Timberwolves were matching buckets in the first half of Game 1, ESPN was trying to fix the audio for its telecast.
The audio feed for ESPN started experiencing technical difficulties towards the end of the first quarter. In an effort to keep its audience entertained, ESPN had the NBA Countdown crew call the game.
However, not everyone heard Mike Greenberg, Jalen Rose and Stephen A. Smith on the call. Some fans heard Ryan Ruocco conducting audio tests for ESPN.
One fan managed to record Ruocco’s audio test and share it on Twitter.

Thankfully, ESPN has corrected this issue. So once again, Ryan Ruocco and Richard Jefferson are calling this game between the Grizzlies and Timberwolves.
As of now, the Timberwolves lead 65-57 over the Grizzlies.
