Things got pretty heated between a wide receiver and cornerback during a high school football camp Saturday.
The two could be seen pushing back and forth before the snap of the 7-on-7 drill. But then, the DB got very physical and drove the receiver back before he could even get off the ball; pushing him all the way into the crowd of the other athletes in attendance.
This isn’t real football.
It’s fake.
Not allowed in real game.
Just dumb. pic.twitter.com/yU5Y7Od90u

“What organization is allowing this?!?” asked ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit. “Not only allowing it, but encouraging it…if you’re a parent sending your kid to camps do everything you can to avoid these settings…waste of time. All for social media clicks. Nothing to be gained for anyone.”

“15 on both before the play starts,” another tweeted. “Offsides on both after that. then neutral zone infraction by Mr. all world corner at the snap of the ball. OTHER THAN THAT though,” he continued. “Way to be physical in a non-padded show case baby!! lock down!!”

It’s surprising this one wasn’t broken up before the drill even started.
